to THE BOTTOM not the TOP
as all the other controls are down the bottom and normally so is the cursor ,
so its a pain to keep moving it up to top

Bookmarks re-ordering

Is it just me or is there no way to change the order of the bookmarks?

To go “behind the scenes” and manually edit them in %APPDATA% is not so straightforward since Mozilla moved from simple html bookmarks list to sqlite and json files (and I think Firefox uses json files for bookmark backups but also stores them in places.sqlite where a lot of other stuff is as well, history etc, but Kylo has no json files and no export/import function).

PS If anyone else is looking for a way to edit the order then this seems to work: Download SQLite Database Browser freeware, open places.sqlite, look in table moz_bookmarks in tab “browse data”. Edit dateAdded so that they come in the order you want (apparently Kylo displays them in the order they were added) by double clicking those numbers, editing them, push “apply changes”, and when all done choose “Sava database” in the File menu. Be sure to make a copy of places,sqlite before you start. I don’t kno exactly what the dateAdded numbers mean (probably date + time somehow) but as long as I edit the last few digits it worked for me..

Hi.
First of all: thanks for Kylo - it’s awesome and just what I was looking for as browser on my htpc. I’m using a K400 wireless keyboard+touchpad as main input. Sadly, however, pressing “alt-gr+q” in order to type an “@” closes kylo. That’s kind of a bummer ... seeing how I can’t really type email adresses w/o the onscreen keyboard. How about changing the keymapping to lets say ... alt+f4, as it’s common in win apps. Or maybe including the option of changing keymaps either via menues or config files?

You have an extremely well designed interface with a simple and intuitive ability to work on virtually any website. As such, I would love to be able to run Kylo over my NetGear Digital Entertainer Live via PlayOn, or my Roku box, or my TiVo Premiere. Is there any chance you are working on this ... PLEASE!

can we have the NAME we call the bookmarks on the bookmark list…if i llook at my open bookmarks its just a long list of uprls i dont know what is what ...

sometimes when i cant wait i pushing the shortcut to many times,and i end up with more then one copy of KYLO running ...its not a problem but dont think it should allow more then one copy active a one time ...
