i have installed DIVX web player and it plays above in chrome and IE

BUT DONT WORK IN KYLO /FIREFOX

it seems that this has something to do with the VLC plugin for FF

There’s clearly a conflict between VLC and the DivX player. I wasn’t able to remedy it through the windows registry. I tried messing with program defaults, uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting registry keys… nothing helped.

You might want to start posting on DivX/VLC forums and see if you get any help.

OK ... this is what you need to work in KYLO ...

download from here
http://www.divx.com/en/software/divx-plus/web-player
DIVX WEB PLAYER only

UNINSTALL LATEST VLC

then from here
http://www.oldapps.com/VLC_Player.php?old_vlc=6123

DOWNLOAD VLC 1.1.11

then DIVX will work and you can play MP4 videos

(click screen to go full screen ,it will give you control at top of screen with autohide)

JOB DONE !

ok they appears to be a problem that if you are in full screen with a MP4 playing then VLC ACTIVE X FULL SCREEN PLUG IN can crash
if this happens just type OK then you get the SAD CRASH FACE ,then REFRESH within KYLO and it plays again
this looks like a VLC bug ,and they seem to have fixed it in 1.2.0 (never released) and 2..0.1 BUT BOTH WONT PLAY DIVX

i did install QUICKTIME instead of VLC ,which gave me great MP4 and DIVX
BUT NO FULL SCREEN .....

so anyone know any thing that would work inside KYLO to play MP4
(WMP dont do MP4)
